Seeds were imported from Brazil. Ziziphus Joazeiro is a thorny, evergreen tree. The edible fruit is gathered from the wild and enjoyed locally. The tree is found in lowland areas in the dry forest region of northeast Brazil. The fruit has relatively thin skin, fleshy pulp, and a slightly sweet flavor. It is rich in vitamin C. The fruit contains one hard seed. The fruit is about 2cm in diameter. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
