Plinia sp Gigante de Goiânia Jaboticaba

$5.00
sold out

Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a Jabotcicaba that comes from the city of Goiânia, in Goiás state, Brazil. It became highly prized due to its large size, some locals compared it to the size of a chicken egg. The exact diameter of these fruits are currently unknown. The fruit has a thin skin, with a high percentage of sweet pulp. The seeds of this cultivar are also very small. I found online where it is thought this could be a hybrid of Pingo de Mel, and Plinia Oblongata. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
