Seeds were imported from Brazil. Tis tree produces fruits that have a fuzzy purple skin, and a very good tasting flesh. The fruits get up to 3cm in diameter. It is native to the forest located at the Mucuri River in Minas Gerais. This is said to be a Jabo similar to the infamous Plinia sp Grimal. Seeds are germinated and will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
