Seeds were imported from Brazil. This tree grows to around 15 feet in the wild, however it should be fine to be kept in a container for many years. The tree itself is hard to find in the wild, and not cultivated often. The fruit of this tree is said to taste great and have a sweet flavor with mild acidity. The tree produces a medium sized purple berry with a good amount of flesh.
