Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a Myrcia recently discovered in bahia. The plant grows as a bush/shrub and gets to around 5 meters in the wild, probably smaller if cultivated. It has big beautiful foiliage, making it very ornamental. The fruits are purple/black when ripe with a dark purple flesh and one single seed. The flesh is sweet and has a strong berry flavor, the after taste of the fruit is a little astringent but nothing to bad. Will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
