Chief characteristics of Myrcia aethusa is its firm, cherry-like texture with a lot of flesh, great flavor and deep burgundy color of the juice, revealing its high contents of anthocyanyn, which is very healthy to anyone's heart. Each fruit contains two, small seeds. This is the best Myrcia the collectors have ever tasted. The tree grows to 2-3 meters, and has a beautiful red new growth, making it very ornamental for the garden. Seeds are germinated and should be planted as soon as possible.
