Meiogyne Cylindrocarpa - Fingersop

This tree produces fruit that is elongated and somewhat cylindrical in shape. It is normally 1-3 inches in length with a red to orange color when ripe. This is a very very slow growing tree! Trees can bear fruit in 5 to 6 years. The fruits have a flavor that is a little bit like a cross between a sugar apple and a pawpaw. It is a compact, bushy tree, growing to several feet tall. Likely frost hardy to at least 32F.
