Eugenia sp Red Narrow Leaf - Goiás Red

$15.00
sold out

Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a Eugenia Specie found recently in the State of Goiás. It is a very rare plant to find in the wild. It was found By Salvador. The plant is small, only 1-2 feet in height. It is the perfect specie for container growers. The fruits ripen to a tear drop shape, and resemble Angustissima fruits. The foliage is much different however, as seen in the photos. We are hoping this is a much easier plant to grow than Angustissima as well. The fruits are decent sized, around the side of a penny. The fruits are good to eat out of hand, sweet with a nice flavor. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
