It is eaten out of hand, and also used in pies and jellies. Once the fruits are fully ripe there is zero astringency. Seed was imported from Brazil. The plants are found in the south of Bahia in Brazil. These plants are roughly six months old. All plants are roughly the same size as the one shown in the photos.
