Eugenia Schuchiana

Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a dwarf Eugenia specie found in the understory of the Atlantic Rainforest. It was found at an altitude of 1000 meters, so it should be resistant to some frost once it gets mature. With it being a dwarf specie, it can be grown in a container full time. The fruits form green, then turn to red-purple when fully ripe. The fruit is said to have a great sweet flavor and enjoyed out of hand. Seeds are viable and should be planted right away. Will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
