Eugenia Rotundicosta - GERMINATED
These seeds were imported directly from Brazil. This tree is found in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina in Brazil. This tree grows up to 10 meters (32 feet) in height. As seen in the photo the mature fruits have an orange/yellow color with a wrinkly exterior. They reported the fruit to have a “Bitter-sweet” taste, with a good flavor. Before the fruits ripen they are a green color, I included a photo of those as well. This tree should be pretty cold hardy based on their native regions. Seeds are germinating and will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
