Eugenia Monosperma - GERMINATED

Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a rare fruit found in the Atlantic forest. It is a shrub or tree and grows primarily in the seasonally dry tropical biome. This tree can get rather large, growing to over 15 feet tall. Each fruit contains one seed. This plant is extremely rare in its natural habitat, and should be collected and protected. The fruits have a decent flesh to seed ratio, espesically since the seed is rather large. The flesh is very juicy, and have a red/pink color to it. The fruit is slighty astringent, but has a great flavor and is enjoyed out of hand.
