Eugenia arrabidae - Uvaia-Peba

Seeds were imported directly from Brazil. An extremely rare Eugenia from the savanna regions near Sao Paulo and Rio. Produces knobby, yellow skinned fruits with fleshy, sour and juicy pulp that is said to have a lovely and refreshing flavor. Fruits size up to 1-2". Slow growing, shrubby and low lying, with growth to 3-6 ft / 1-2 m. May show some frost tolerance down to a few degrees below freezing.
