Seeds were imported from Colombia. The Genus Duguetia has not been studied much in the country of Colombia. One of the species that has been found and used by the locals is Duguetia Confusa, which we have sold before. This is a different Duguetia, but somewhat similar. The collectors in Colombia call if Duguetia aff Confusa, as it is similar, but different still from Confusa. As shown in the photos, the fruits, and flowers, have slight difference. The flowers are different, and the fruit of this specie are larger. The collectors also report that these fruits taste sweeter than the regular Duguetia Confusa. These fruits are also purple, instead of red. The tree found was 7 feet tall, and held many fruits.
