Cherry of the rio Grande var "Yellow"

Seeds were imported directly from Brazil. These are seeds of the rare Eugenia Involucrata, Cherry of the Rio Grande "Yellow". This is like the regular Cherry of the Rio, except it produces a yellow-orange fruit. This is a fruit tree from the subtropics of Brazil. It is cold tolerant to about 20F, if exposure is brief, and the tree is mature. They seem to enjoy part shade if your temps go above 90-degree Fahrenheit. These fruits are enjoyed out of hand.
