Plinia sp. Paulista - Black Pearl

Seeds are starting to germinate. This is a hybrid variety from Taiwan. The fruit can often grows in clusters of 3-6 fruits. The fruits are fairly large. They can grow up to 3cm - 4cm in diameter or more. These trees have been known to fruit in as little as 4-7 years. The fruits can sometimes have a smooth skin, and also costate. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
