Annona Purpurea - Soncoya

This is a tree that can be kept small, but if grown in ideal conditions in the ground, can grow up to 10 meters tall. The trunk is greenish and grows straight. The tree produces a very large fruit, up to 20cm in diameter. The fruit is green until it ripens, when ripe the surface of the fruit will turn light brown. The interior of the fruit is a yellow orange color and has many seeds. The fruit itself is very aromatic, and the flesh tastes like a combination of peach, citrus orange, and mango! Seeds are viable as shown in the photos and will be shipped in vermiculite.
