Plinia sp. Campo de Ramón Jaboticaba

Campo Ramon originates in Argentina and is a rare variety of jaboticaba. The fruit is very sweet in taste, with a dark skin and purplish/white flesh. It resembles the taste of maraschino cherries. These trees can fruit in as little as 5 years. Trees can tolerate minimums of 27 to 29°F (-2 to 3°C) for 2 or 3 hours if they are in good condition and already established.
