Psidium Sartorianum

$5.00

Seeds were imported from Brazil. Medium-sized tree reaching 3 to 15 meters in height, with a rounded and dense crown measuring 2 to 4 meters in diameter. The trunk is cylindrical, straight and smooth, with bark that peels off in long, narrow plates; with a light brown color with spots sometimes yellowish, sometimes whitish. This species is easily identified by observing pubescence or inclined hairs on the branches and young leaves. The fruits are consumed in natura and taste like Uvaia with araçá, but are sweeter. The fruits can be used to make juices, ice cream and jellies.
