Seed was imported from Brazil. These were sourced from Andres, and this is what he has to say - "Place of occurrence – Northeast region of Brazil. In the state of Bahia Native tree measuring 4 to 5 meters in height. Purple fruits when ripe with longitudinal stripes along the fruits. Very juicy and tasty fruits. Bright purple color with a c Juicy fruits with little acidity, very sweet and mild acid, bittersweet that calls. One of the most beautiful jaboticabas I've ever found. Fruiting begins 3-5 years after definitive planting." Seeds are shipping in humid vermiculite.
