Onychopetalum Periquino - Envira caju "Mini Preta"

$10.00

Seeds were imported from Brazil. Onychopetalum periquino, is commonly known as Envira Caju in Brazil. It is a member of the annonaceae family. The fruit is mostly juicy yellow pulp by weight. The pulp is a bit astringent near the endocarp, the mesocarp is much less astringent, and the skin is fairly thin. A local went on an expedition, and discovered several hybrids of the Onychopetalum periquino. This hybrid he called Envira Caju Mini Roxa. This fruit he discovered is smaller than usual, and sweeter. The fruit also has an almost black skin. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
