This species was imported as seed from Brazil. This is a rare species of Neomitranthes found in Una Bahia Brazil. It was found growing to 14 meters in height. It produces a small golen/red skinned berry. The fruit is said to be very sweet with a earthy flavor. The fruits smell nice as well, the collector said it smells like fresh cut wood, which is rather interesting. The species should do well for container growers. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
