Eugenia sp Pitanga "Restinga"

$3.00

Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a Pitanga found recently, that grows to 1-2 meters in height. The plant produces a sweet tasting dark red berry, with a red/orange sweet flesh. The fruit is green when first forming, then turning yellow, orange, red, then into a dark red/black when totally ripe. It is a very beautiful Eugenia species, and should be able to be kept in a container. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
