Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a specie thought to be related to Eugenia Gemmiflora, and Patrissi. The fruits form as round berries with a smooth skin. The fruits turn black when fully ripe. The tree was found in the Amazon. The tree found was 3 meters in height, around 9 feet, and covered in fruit. The fruits are around the size of a jaboticaba, 1.5 inches in diameter. The flesh is red, and juicy, with a flavor similar to that of a good wild blackberry. Each fruit contains one seed. Seeds will arrive to you germinated, and with humid vermiculite.
