Eugenia sp Frutao - Large seed Eugenia
Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a specie found in Itacaré Bahia, growing as a tree 20 meters, or 65 feet tall. It is a very interesting specie, as the seeds are huge. They range from the size of a golf ball, up to the size of a tennis ball. I have one of the seeds photographed in this listing. Sadly the only fruits found were old spoiled ones on the ground, and shown in the photos, and as of now we have no taste report. The tree was growing in clay soil. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
