Seeds were imported from Brazil and will arrive germinated, plant as soon as possible! Eugenia angustissima is a shrub of 1-2 meters, endemic to the Cerrado and Caatinga, in the central part of the country covering Bahia, Minas Gerais, Goiás, Tocantins, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, on rocky soil, usually close to water courses. Cultivated by bonsai enthusiasts. Very narrow and elongated leaves, shiny above and lighter on the back, with a reddish petiole. Oval or piriform fruits measuring 10-15 mm, changing from yellow, orange, and red. The taste is very sweet and pleasant.
