Seeds were imported from Brazil. Plinia sp “Navel do Juiz” is a new rare Plinia species found by fruit hunter Andres Perez in de Bahia Brazil. He claims this is the same specie that was formerly called “Rajada da Bahia enrugada. The fruits are nice a sweet, and great to eat out of hand. The fruits are burgundy when fully ripe, with a striped skin. The flesh is white, and each fruit usually contains 2 seeds. Seeds are germinated and shipped in humid vermiculite.
