Seeds were imported from Brazil. This is a rare Mouriri specie found in Uruçuca Bahia. This specie grows as a tree and can reach up to 15 meters or 49 feet tall in the wide. May be able to be kept smaller in cultivation. The tree produces a red round shiny red edible fruit that is mildly sweet, and somewhat bland in terms of flavor. There was no astringency detected when tasting the fruit according to the collector. The tree was found growing in clay soil. The seeds you will receive can be shown in the photos. They will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
