Pouteria spp. Ajará

Seeds were imported directly from Brazil. This tree was found in the Amazon rain forest. It creates a small green fruit that is not great to eat out of hand for some, but others enjoy it. The locals that do not eat it out of hand do make into jelly. The locals call it Ajará. The tree grows 4-8 meters tall. No other info is known about this tree at this time. I first imported this specie in 2022, and found that it took 9 months before the seeds sprouted. Expect to wait a long time before you see ay movement from these seeds. Do not give up on them, they will sprout. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
