Seeds were imported from Brazil. This tree produces green fruit with a diameter of 3 cm. The tree can fruit in as little as 3-4 years from seed. It can be successfully grown in containers. The fruit is very sweet and said to have a hint of honey flavor. Joe Hewitt fruited this tree on his farm in Hawaii, and talked very highly on the quality of the fruit. Seeds are germinated and will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
