Myrciaria sp Gin & Tonic - GERMINATED

Seeds were imported from Brazil, with the help of seedshuntershop.com check them out for a great selection of tropical fruit seeds! This is a small shrubby plant that grows up to 3 meters tall. It should be able to be kept much smaller and work well in containers. Is has beautiful red new growth, and produces small dark red berries. The berries first form green, before ripening to the red color. The fruit is said to taste similar to gin, but be very sweet, and slightly acidic. It was discovered in Bahia. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
