Pouteria sp “Caimitillo”

Seeds were imported from Colombia. This is a Pouteria recently found in the Colombian jungles at a height of 10 meters and at 800 meters above sea level in forested areas of Colombia. The fruit is yellow when ripe, it is a very good size and the flavor is very good, slightly reminiscent of condensed milk. Only 2 individuals of this species were found in a very large forest fragment. Seeds are limited and viable. Will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
