Garcinia cf. Beccarii

Seeds were imported from Indonesia. This is a very rare and unknown Garcinia found in the forests of Central Kalimantan to West Kalimantan. The taste is sweet and sour, and greatly enjoyed out of hand. The skin is thin, and red. The only down side to this fruit there is not much pulp available. Even with the limited amount of pulp, this fruit is highly prized in the area, and often sold in the local markets whenever the trees produce. Seeds are viable and will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
