Seeds were imported from Brazil. A small or medium tree, rarely to 20 m tall with narrow leaves that have silvery undersides and purplish flowers followed by edible, reddish, segmented fruits that are highly sought after for their sweet and creamy, peach-flavored pulp. Duguetia marcgraviana is native to semideciduous forest in eastern Peru, Bolivia and western Brazil at low to medium elevations. This variation is said to produce JUMBO fruits like shown in the photo. Seeds are viable and shipped in humid vermiculite.
