Eugenia Complicata - Blue Pitanga

Seeds were imported from Brazil and are starting to germinate. This is a very rare eugenia found in Brazil. The tree grows to 2-3 meters tall, perfect for containers. This is a hard plant to get going, but once established it will fruit in abundance. The fruits are black/blue skinned, with a unique blue flesh that is tasty and sweet. The collector stated it tastes like candy. Seeds will be shipped in humid vermiculite.
